Testimony of a dairy farmer in the Meuse (55)Introduction
A dairy farmer from Meuse (55) uses all the products in the SWT range to manage his crops. He told us about the results obtained on winter wheat during the winter of 2020/2021 on an area of 50 ha.
Products used: Slurry and litter are respectively treated with SW Slurries and SW Composts and Litters .
The crops are treated with SW Soil and SW Plants + SW Proteo .
Protocol:
End of September 2020: spreading of 25 m3 of slurry + 25 m3 of manure,
October 2020: Wheat sown directly on clean plot after cultivation
of corn,
Stage 3 to 4 leaves: application of 1 liter of SW Sol + 1 liter of SW
Proteo + 100g of SW Plants .
March 2021: selective weeding against Dicotyledons,
March 2021: contribution of 80 units of urea.
No further intervention on this plot until the harvest in
August 21 (no nitrogen and no fungicide).
Result: harvest 71 quintals net.
Farmer's Testimony
"I have been using informed products with satisfaction for several years, and particularly the SWT system for 3 years to treat my slurry and manure. My first tests with SWT products on crops encouraged me to go further in my tests, especially after seeing the improvement in my soils with SW Sol. I am very satisfied with the results on this wheat crop, with a correct yield and no disease even though I did not use any fungicide. The return on investment is very positive."
