The aim of this test was to measure the ammonia level above a slurry pit under slatted floors in order to verify the effectiveness of SW Lisiers used to treat the slurry.
These measurements were carried out at Remi Croze, a Limousin breeder in the 43.
The pit under the grating was treated twice at a rate of 15g/m³.
The first treatment was carried out on December 2, 2022 and the slurry was mixed once a week until January 20, the date of the 2nd treatment.
Then until March 6, 2023 the slurry was not mixed.

The action of SW Lisiers made it possible to obtain relatively significant reductions in ammonia, despite the cessation of mixing during the second phase of treatment.
