Some walls, crossed by electric cables, can radiate 50 Hz electric fields causing induced tensions on the body. This is often the case behind the headboards and our sleep is disturbed.

The automatic field switch (IAC) or biorutpeur, disconnects the electrical circuit on which it is installed, as long as there is no current consumption. Thanks to a low control voltage, in direct current, it monitors the circuit and restores the voltage as soon as it detects a demand for electrical current.

Cuts the power to an electrical circuit so that there are no more electromagnetic fields around the electrical wires from the electrical panel to the power outlets. Very useful for eliminating electromagnetic fields at the head of the bed emitted by walls, some of whose materials amplify the radiation from the power wires.

Operating Principle:

The automatic field switch, also called IAC or biorrutpeur, disconnects the electrical circuit on which it is installed, as long as there is no current consumption. Thanks to a low control voltage, in direct current, it monitors the circuit and restores the voltage as soon as it detects a demand for electrical current.

In practice:

You are in bed and turn off your bedside lamp. The voltage is automatically cut off in the bedroom circuit, eliminating electromagnetic pollution in the walls. As soon as you turn on the bedside lamp or another device, the voltage will be restored in the circuit.

Facility :

The IAC is installed in the distribution box, it must always be protected against overcurrents by a 16A circuit breaker upstream.

The same IAC protects one or more electrical circuits.

– a light indicating whether the circuit(s) are cut or not,

– a 1 µF Gigahertz Solutions filter, to be mounted directly on the automatic field switch (at the electrical panel). This filter reduces voltage peaks in the public power supply polluting the home’s electrical network (“dirty power” or “dirty electricity”), while increasing current stability and reliability of IAC triggering, particularly when using LED bulbs.

FYI, none of the IACs work with a dimmer on the circuit it is meant to protect.

Installation of the automatic field switch requires manual skills for assembly and knowledge of electricity.

First of all, make sure you have the skills, qualifications and equipment necessary to carry out the assembly safely.

For your safety, the electrical installation to which the automatic field switch(es) will be connected must comply with the electrical standard in force in your country.
